37 percent of the homeless in South Hampton Roads will spend their days and nights unsheltered.
PLEASE HELP MAKE ROOM

Make Room Hampton Roads is a group of concerned and involved people from the business community in our region.

Initiated as a class project for the Lead Hampton Roads Class of 2007, the Make Room Hampton Roads Team decided to help VA Supportive Housing with their Adopt-a-Room campaign for the Gosnold Apartments in Norfolk.

The next project for Make Room is the South Bay Apartments in Portsmouth. The South Bay Adopt-a-Room campaign started in the fall of 2009, with the goal of funding the furnishings for South Bay in time for its completion in fall of 2010.

VA Supportive Housing, along with the Make Room Hampton Roads group are asking for your generous donation to help South Bay become a home.

You can help...
A donation of $3,000 can fully furnish an entire room at the South Bay Apartments in Portsmouth and help provide one year of support services which are critical to ensuring that the tenants do not return to homelessness. All donations are appreciated.
