A Sleep In The Park Gets National Attention

April Woodard, of TV's Inside Edition will be joining the teams camping out in Norfolk on June 15th (details) as they raise awareness and money about solutions for homelessness.

A Senior Correspondent for the syndicated magazine program based in New York, Woodard recently went undercover to investigate what it’s like to live on the streets of Manhattan and experience life as a homeless woman.  Surrendering her cell phone, wedding ring and wallet, Woodard spent two straight days on the streets where she slept on park benches and pan-handled money for food.
