 The Lead Hampton Roads Class of 2007, a Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce program, has taken on the issue of chronic homelessness in Hampton Roads with “Make Room Hampton Roads,” a campaign to raise awareness and increase funding for permanent supportive housing programs such as Gosnold.
Lead Hampton Roads builds and strengthens regional leadership through education, partnerships and networking across traditional boundaries for the purpose of improving the quality of life in the seventeen communities of South Hampton Roads, Virginia.
Lead Hampton Roads was founded in 1989 as Leadership Hampton Roads and is part of a national leadership conference. The program is in its 18th year and boasts more than 800 graduates.
